This car has been completely rebuilt for
show and is the 1999 Winner of ISCA's AAAAA event (Omaha's World of Wheels)
"Outstanding Sports Car" category.
The engine is a 454 .060-over big-block
with 427 heads, hydraulic roller cam, forged aluminum pistons, and JetHot coated headers
and intake. The carb is a 4150 Holley which is matched to a billet HEI, both of which were
made special for this 'Vette by the Carburetor Shop in California. The engine is topped
with a custom-built and polished SS direct-port NOS nitrous system. The power (up to 1,000
HP) is transferred to the 3.08 rearend by a TH400 with high-stall converter.
The performance suspension utilizes a
monoleaf rear suspension and polyurethane bushings and includes all SS brake components,
American Racing wheels and Firestone Firehawk rubber.
The exterior is metallic blue with purple
mica flaked flames and includes a mural painted on the underside of the hood.
The custom purple and cranberry interior
has a billet steering wheel and Kenwood sound system.
This car was built with attention to detail
and the ability to win at car shows. It uses a mix of billet aluminum, chrome,
powercoating, SS and painted surfaces to produce a winning combination!
